The acquisiton of the Eagleton Group by Friven & Co was undertaken with the objectives of providing Friven & Co with value-added back-end operations as part of FAGP's wellness approach, and to provide Eagleton Group with a front-end growth platform. This integrated approach maximizes synergies for both groups
Description
The Eagleton Group comprises Eagleton Direct Exports Ltd (Eagleton) and Smart Easy Corporation (SEC) dealing in the sourcing of household products with an in-house quality control team. The Eagleton Group's customers encompass major supermarkets and retail chain stores throughout the United Kingdom and Australia. Prior to being part of Friven & Co, Eagleton was merely a service provider to its clients without the ability to enjoy their growth and success.
Results
- These acquisitions have greatly strengthened Friven & Co's product procurement capabilities with Eagleton Group's extensive sourcing network of over 400 factories in more than 5 countries;
- The extensive sourcing capabilities have further enhanced Friven & Co's product range as well as substantially improved Friven & Co's overall performance;
- With the acquisitions, First Alverstone Partners has ensured that Friven & Co's distribution network is expanded to the UK and the Australian markets, in addition to its presence in the Southeast Asian markets;and
- Whilst continuing its servicing of third party clients, it has gained the chance to be part of a front-end growth platform itself and enjoy an integrated success.
